Why I Stopped Reading the News

News is all about spreading stories that sell, mostly focusing on negativity, fear, and drama.

I think it was Tim Ferriss who said he hasn’t read the news in years. It’s a waste of time, and if it matters, he will hear about it from someone.

I decided to follow this approach.

I turned off all notifications on my cellphone. I am glad I did. I’m less triggered by news, and if there’s something important, someone talks about it.
